Author Interviews & Guest Posts FAQ

Thank you for taking the time to read all these. I really appreciate it.
If there is something that is not included on this page, then feel free to contact me.
Just consider that the days have 24 hours for me too and I have a day job, 17 (25 now) blogs, 8 Facebook Pages, etc. etc.
I get up at 4 - 5 every morning. What time do you get up?
- Do you promote all genres?
Please be advised that I don't promote books that were not written by you (or a real writer).
What do I mean by that?
Ghostwriting. If you are a business-focused-author who signs the cover of a book that was not written by you, please do not waste time to contact me.
I will check your credentials. Search engines are powerful tools.
This blog is called Authors for Life. Respect that.
- What do you mean by "extreme and/or too much foul language"? Most books contain filthy language.
I am very aware of that."Extreme & too much" mean that most words/expressions on all pages are dirty and make you cringe.
- How many daily visitors does your blog have?
- You highlighted the fact that guest posts and author interviews don't guarantee sales and traffic. What's the purpose of these then?
- How can I contact you to ask for your services?
2. Leave me a comment with your details. I would suggest not to reveal your contact details on a public page. But how will I reply otherwise?
Stick with the email. It will save us time and frustration.
3. Please state in the object what service do you need = guest post, author interview, ad or all three?
- How long do I have to wait before you publish my post/author interview?
2. If you set up a free promotion or a sale period, it would be advisable to contact me at least one week before.
- How will I know you've published my posts?
- What about the ad (embedded on the sidebar)?
To be on the safe side, check my blog.
- Are these posts permanent?
- Do I have to write the post myself?
I am not a native English speaker but I write in English as you can see. I also use 3 software to help me with the syntax, grammar and other English language-related issues. Trust me, I know how to write. I like my posts and books to be error-free. I respect my readers more than you can imagine.
Anyway, it's cheaper if you write it. I need to research and I can't know how you feel about your work. Try at least. It will always be more truthful.
- I don't know how to write a guest post. Can you help?
- What do I need to include in my guest post?
Don't forget to include:
- Your author name/pen name.
- The title of your book. Is it part of a series?
- A direct link from where to purchase it.
- If you have a sale or free promotion period, state it clearly. Start and finish dates.
- A book cover.
- Optional: your photo. Make sure it's one that gives you justice. Smile in it. It does not have to be professional or fancy.
- I don't like the questions on the (author interview) script, can I change them?
- My book is in French. Can I ask you to promote it?
- You said that you have 17 (25 actually) blogs. What if I don't want my posts on this blog? Can I ask you to promote them on a different one?
- How much does it cost?
- Can I buy more than 1 guest post?
- I don't have a PayPal account. How can I make the payment?
Click here the send me direct payments.
Or use the Donate button on the sidebar.
- I really don't trust online payments. What can I do?
Let's exchange services.
My books need reviews.
- Review 1 book for each service. But they need to be relevant and longer than 3 phrases. Plus, they need to be accepted by Amazon.com and I need proof of that before I accept to publish your posts.
- If you can't leave a review - because you don't shop online, ask someone who can.
- If you don't know how to write a review, please read this.
- If you really cannot review my books on Amazon, please do so on Goodreads. You don't need proof of purchase for that.
Please be generous and follow the Golden Rule.
Write what you'd like to read. No foul language.
Publish a guest post on your blog/website, a video on YouTube Channel, an endorsement on LinkedIn. I need to check the page first. It has to be an authority one. Safe, relevant and traceable.
Thank you so much for the attention to detail.
